Here's the latest Dell laptop - the Dell Inspiron Mini 12.
Z530, 40/60/80GB HDD, 1GB RAM, Vista (oops), 12.1" 1280x800, Wifi
Now that there's a 12" Atom-based laptop, it's about time someone make a proper slate tablet, with Wacom and everything.
Hopefully something like an HP TC1100

Dream Specs
Atom Z540 1.866GHz
2GB RAM
8-16GB SSD (Not necessarily the stupidly fast ones. 2.5" 5400rpm HDD speed is good enough)
10.4" 1024x768 / 11.1" 1366x768 (a la Sony Vaio TX/TZ), with LED backlight
Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
802.11agn
Wacom Tablet
HSDPA module, 7.2Mbps
<=1.3KG (roughly the same as a tc1100 minus the traditional lcd backlighting and the HDD)
XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 (No Vista Home Premium, thank you very much)
I'll die a happy man with something like this. I'm willing to pay up to HK$9000 for one. Should be enough, considering an HP "Convertible" Tablet with AMD Puma and 3GB RAM and 320GB HDD and DVD+-RW and Wifi and Bluetooth and Vista Home Premium and a bloody keyboard is HK$9xxx.
Will anyone make one? Please?
