London Paddington
A Wednesday morning in London Paddington station.
Waiting for a train to go to Bristol Temple Meads, i.e. University of Bristol.
Yes, you guessed it, Open Day.
I arrived one whole hour before the train leaves the station, so I wandered around and took some pictures.

UBC Hong Kong Concert 2006
University of British Columbia's first Hong Kong Concert.
I'm one of the official photographers, so I had the chance to go backstage and take pictures while they're practising. A very rare photographic opportunity.

Saturday Maths Class
This album has been online for a while, but I don't think I introduced it here.

Experiment 1 - Calligraphy
A friend was holding a calligraphy competition, and he wanted me to take a picture for the competition poster - which became my first experiment with lights.
I didn't realise until two days after the posters came out that i should have used a slightly smaller aperture, say, f/2.8 instead of the f/1.8 I used.
God I'm stupid.

2000th Photo
Finally...over 2000 photos have been take using the D70s! The 2000th photo is part of the 10-frame experiment, the second of the 10 frames, to be exact.

Experiment 3 - 10-Frame
Some time ago I read about a photographer going around hollywood asking celebrities to take pictures of themselves in a photobooth.
They are allowed to fire the shutte themselves, and do whatever they want in front of the lens.
10 frames for each celebrity, same settings for each frame (e.g. same light source for all celebrities),and they don't get to see the results until they've finished the 10 frames.
Now, someone can't get enough of me, and want to see more pictures of me (don't know about now...), so I thought, why not try this 10-frame idea?
I have a remote for my D70s, so i setup the camera, and after some trial and error, I ended up with the 10 frames. Here's one of them. Check out the rest in my album. A chance to see a face full of disasterous acne.
Also included : some trial shots
p.s. none of these are edited in photoshop, only raw-to-jpg conversion via Nikon Capture

Experiment 2 - Candle
Another friend told me to take pictures of this candle.
Don't know why he want photos of it, but I take this as another experimental opportunity.
Results came out, well, sort of OK, I guess.

「影會」?
不知為何要把錢看得這麼重呢?致 貴「影會」之負責人
對不起, 我實在想不懂 貴「影會」憑甚麼可以不讓我邀請一個自由身的模特兒私影.
貴「影會」之負責人曾向我表示此乃違反 貴「影會」的程序, 是我程序上的錯誤.
據我所知, 貴「影會」還未成立, 也沒有跟一些模特兒有約在先.
一個未成立的「影會」, 何來程序?
另外, 一個模特兒, 如果沒有和任何機構/人物之間, 有任何關於成為該機構/人物旗下的模特兒的協定, 就是一個自由身的模特兒.
也就是說, 我只是邀請一個自由身的模特兒出席私影.
不過, 念在我和 貴「影會」之其中一位負責人的友情, 我已向雙方取消任何協定, 即Queenie小姐以模特兒身份出席本星期六(27/8/2005)由ac520先生, Voodoo_Cowboy先生等人舉辦的私影一事.
另外, 所有因此而起的其他事情, 我會一概承擔所有後果, 包括以後不能在香港任何攝影活動現身之類.
但我對此事向 貴提出最嚴厲的抗議.
還有, 別告訴我甚麼「不明文規定」. 我在此也同時向該「不明文規定」提出最強烈的不滿.
